Custom Sheet Metal Fabrication
Laser Cutting, Bending & Welding
Our Custom Sheet Metal Fabrication Services combine TRUMPF fiber laser cutting, CNC press brake forming, and robotic MIG/TIG welding to produce precision structural components and assemblies for industrial machinery, EV applications, and automation enclosures.
From simple brackets and chassis panels to complex multi-part weld assemblies, our sheet metal team manages the full production workflow — cutting, bending, welding, and surface finishing — delivering batch-consistent quality with full dimensional documentation on every shipment
- TRUMPF fiber laser cutting — carbon steel, stainless, aluminum
- CNC press brake bending up to 3000mm length
- AWS-certified robotic & manual TIG/MIG welding
High-Volume Metal Stamping & Progressive Die Tooling
For high-volume OEM production requirements, our Metal Stamping Services deliver repeatable precision at scale. We specialize in progressive die stamping, deep drawing, and blanking — producing clips, contacts, brackets, and hardware components for the automotive, electronics, and consumer products industries.
Our in-house tooling team designs and maintains custom progressive dies, reducing per-unit cost significantly at volumes of 10,000 pieces and above. All stamped parts undergo dimensional verification and material certification as standard.
- Progressive die stamping — up to 100,000+ pieces per run
- In-house die design & maintenance for cost control
- Copper, Spring Steel, Carbon Steel, Brass
Why Global OEMs Choose Qingdao Inside Industry
We don’t compete on price alone. Our clients return for one reason: we reduce the engineering risk between design and production.

DFM Review on Every Project
Before production begins, our mechanical engineers review your CAD files for tolerance stack-ups, unnecessary features, and material substitution opportunities. Written DFM feedback is delivered within 24-48 hours of file submission. Clients who adopt our recommendations average 15-25% cost reduction and 20-30% shorter lead times.

ISO 9001:2015 with Hexagon CMM
Our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system covers every stage from raw material procurement to final inspection. Every production lot is verified on our Hexagon CMM coordinate measuring machine. We provide First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, Mill Test Reports (MTR), and RoHS/REACH compliance declarations as standard.

Design to Delivery
CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, stamping, surface finishing, and final assembly under one roof eliminates supplier coordination overhead. One purchase order, one point of contact, one quality system. Most clients reduce their supply chain from 3-4 vendors to 1.

Frequently Asked Questions
We offer four core manufacturing services: (1) Precision CNC Machining — 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling and turning; (2) Custom Sheet Metal Fabrication — laser cutting, CNC bending, and robotic welding; (3) Metal Stamping — progressive die, deep drawing, and blanking; (4) Surface Finishing — anodizing, powder coating, passivation, and electroplating. All services are available as part of a one-stop manufacturing workflow with DFM engineering support.
Our standard CNC machining tolerance is ±0.05mm. For precision applications, we regularly hold ±0.01mm (10 microns) on milled and turned components. Surface roughness ranges from Ra 0.4 to Ra 3.2 depending on process and specification. Tighter tolerances are achievable through grinding processes following engineering review.
We have no minimum order quantity. We accept single-piece prototype orders through production runs of 100,000+ units. For low-volume orders (1-50 pieces), we typically return a quote and begin production within 1-3 business days of file receipt.
Our most commonly processed materials include: Aluminum (6061-T6, 7075-T6, 5052), Stainless Steel (304, 316L, 17-4 PH), Carbon Steel (1018, 4140), Brass, Copper, Titanium Grade 5, and Engineering Plastics (PEEK, POM/Delrin, Nylon). Special alloys are available on request with material certification.
Rapid prototyping (1-5 pieces): 3-7 business days. Small batch (10-50 pieces): 7-14 days. Production run (100+ pieces): 15-25 days depending on complexity, material, and surface finishing requirements. We offer expedited production for time-critical projects.
Yes. Every order ships with a dimensional inspection report. On request, we provide First Article Inspection (FAI) reports in PPAP-compatible format, Mill Test Reports (MTR) from accredited mills, RoHS and REACH compliance declarations, and CE documentation support. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified and welcome third-party inspections from SGS, TUV Rheinland, or Bureau Veritas.
We sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) before reviewing any customer design files. All CAD data is stored on our restricted-access internal server and is never shared with third parties or replicated for other customers under any circumstances.
Upload your 2D drawings (PDF/DXF) or 3D CAD files (STEP/IGES) using the form below, or email them directly to info@insidemetalfab.com. Include your target quantity, material specification, tolerance requirements, and any surface finishing needs. We return a detailed quote with DFM feedback within 24-48 hours.
